counting cigarettes in a pack.
Pop a bag in a cup
hygiene operative certificates
form the walls of a public restroom,
a room to recline in,
a room bigger than this one.
Fourteen months without a job
interviews right and
left tracking genius
big-bodied babies a home in
Paris New York Walla Walla
Washington State a conduit
running from Los Angeles to
Birmingham underneath an ocean
farther than any
clouded eye could see.

in the numbers.  the usage
of clear and present.

Teal cranes swing

--dreamscapes to incorporate Mexico
O, fistfulls of dresses, golden bracelets,
sorrowful gleam in the teeth!
Unusual, yes, but
revolt was merely a product of
the color scheme.
